Grad Fest is a one-stop shop for graduating bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D. students to complete their commencement requirements. All fall graduates are encouraged to participate in-person and online.

  • 9 a.m. – 2p.m.- Schedule your graduate portrait hereAll portraits will be taken in the Poole Room in the Wardlaw Center.
  • 11 a.m.– Identities in the Workforce; Student Success Center- President Suite C and D. The Career Center hosts a panel of professionals who will discuss how they navigate various workforce situations that have challenged their identities.
  • 4 p.m.- Graduate Students- Exploring Various Career PathsWebinar. Learn about the assessments, service, and campus programs that can help you explore multiple career paths from the Career Center.
  • 6:30 p.m.- You’re an Alum, Now What?, Alumni Association Ballroom. Learn about retirement funds, 401 K’s, and budgeting made simple from Danish Dharani and Auston Kennedy at BlackRock. Register here.

    Barnes and Noble at Georgia TechGet ready for Georgia Tech Commencement on Grad Fest Day! Purchase your regalia at a discounted price, RSVP for commencement, order your class ring from Balfour, get your graduate portrait taken, and enjoy other giveaways.
  • Noon- Career Exploration Group Workshop Series; Student Success Center- President Suite D. This Career Center series will focus on topics that will increase self-awareness and enhance the ability to explore career options.

Thursday, Oct. 21

  • 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.- Schedule your graduate portrait here. All portraits will be taken in the Poole Room in the Wardlaw Center.
  • 11 a.m.- Evaluating a Job Offer and Negotiating a SalaryWebinar. This workshop hosted by the Career Center will discuss how to negotiate a higher salary and what to consider when evaluating a job offer.
  • 3 p.m.- Interview Prep: How to Identify and Highlight Your Skills; Student Success Center- Press Room A. Join the Carer Center to learn how to identify and highlight your relevant experience, skills, and capabilities throughout the interview process.

Regalia Information

  • All regalia is available to order on the Tech Stuff website.
  • Note there will be different seals on regalia as we transition to the new Georgia Tech brand identity.
  • All orders should be in by Monday, Nov. 1. Orders booked after Nov. 1 incur a late fee:
    Bachelor’s regalia- $79.98
    Late fee- $20

    Master’s regalia- $114.98
    Late fee- $35

    Ph.D. Rental- $185.98
    Late fee- $125

  • The Ph.D. custom order has to be placed by Friday, Oct. 15. This is for customized, specially-fitted Ph.D. gown orders and not rentals.
  • Ph.D. hoods are a gift from the Institute and therefore do not need to be purchased.
  • Students are responsible for providing their own regalia for graduation photos.

RSVP for Commencement

  • The RSVP period for Fall 2021 Commencement is October 18 to November 12.
  • An RSVP is required to attend the ceremony.
  • No tickets are required for guests. There is no guest limit.
