Open Rank Lecturer, Full Time Non-Tenure Track Position – Transportation Engineering, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Rowan University, Glassboro New Jersey

 The department of Civil and Environmental Engineering seeks energetic and innovative teacher-scholars, committed to excellence in engineering education to join our dedicated family of faculty members.  The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching innovative and project-based courses in the Civil & Environmental Engineering curriculum. Applicants with expertise in all fundamental areas of Civil & Environmental Engineering are invited to apply.  The candidate should be able to teach our core transportation engineering course, CEE systems, Surveying, along with electives such as: a) Construction materials. B) Pavement design; and C) Pavement Rehabilitation and Asset Management. Lecturers are full time positions, and successful candidates will teach a total of 24 credits over two semesters with the possibility of teaching summer classes for additional compensation. Although the lecturer position is non-tenure track, the position offers the potential for employment security in two- to five-year reappointments. Tenure-Track Civil Engineering Position – Carroll College, MT

Carroll College in Helena, Montana is seeking to fill a tenure-track faculty position in civil engineering starting in the fall of 2023. Please see the attached position announcement. Our Civil Engineering program is ABET accredited. We are an undergraduate institution, with a main focus on teaching; not on research. We are looking for energetic, motivated individuals who want to interact with and mentor students. Required qualifications are a master’s degree in engineering and the ability to obtain a Professional Engineering (PE) license within four years of hire. A doctoral degree in engineering and a PE license are preferred. We are looking for candidates with the ability to teach courses in water resources and/or transportation and geotechnical engineering, but with the flexibility to teach general civil engineering courses at all undergraduate levels. Professional experience is a plus.
