The Illinois Science and Technology Coalition (ISTC) is looking for volunteers with diverse backgrounds and areas of expertise to participate in virtual skills-based mentoring of Illinois high school students through its Mentor Matching Engine (MME) platform.
For only one hour per week, mentors can increase exposure to career pathways for students who have been historically excluded from these fields by guiding them through research projects of their choosing in STEM, humanities, sociology, social justice, and more.
If you are interested in supporting a student’s growth in problem-solving, research, leadership, and communication by joining ISTC’s trusted cohort of all-virtual mentors, sign up here to be contacted with the next steps.
