Two Visiting Assistant Professors

The Lafayette College Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) invites applications for two one-year Visiting Assistant Professor positions. The first position is within the subdiscipline of environmental engineering for the Fall 2022/Spring 2023 semesters and the second position is within the subdisciplines of construction management and/or geotechnical engineering for the Spring 2023/Fall 2023 semestersCandidates must have earned a Ph.D. in civil engineering or related field by the start of the position, possess enthusiasm for teaching, and have the ability to teach courses within their subdiscipline. For the construction management and/or geotechnical position, candidates must also be able to teach courses in statics and strength of materials. Each position is a two-semester full-time appointment with a three course teaching load per semester.  Applications are especially welcome from candidates who will contribute to Lafayette’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Browder & LeGuizamon is pleased to announce the opening of new positions for entry level
structural engineers.

Preferred educational background includes Master’s or PhD in Civil Engineering with a
structural engineering focus.

Engineers in these positions will be involved in structural engineering design and modeling of a
wide variety of structures including high‐rise, low‐rise, residential, and commercial buildings in
virtually every building material available.

Experience with Autodesk Revit as well as structural engineering analysis and design software
packages (such as ETABS, SAP2000, ADAPT, …etc) are highly valued skills in this selection.

Assistant Professor in Environmental Engineering

The University of Hawai’i at Manoa (UHM) welcomes applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Environmental Engineering at the rank of Assistant Professor. This is a full-time and general fund position with split appointments in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE, position No. 84299) and the Water Resources Research Center (WRRC, position No. 88651).
