Two Visiting Assistant Professors
The Lafayette College Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) invites applications for two one-year Visiting Assistant Professor positions. The first position is within the subdiscipline of environmental engineering for the Fall 2022/Spring 2023 semesters and the second position is within the subdisciplines of construction management and/or geotechnical engineering for the Spring 2023/Fall 2023 semesters. Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in civil engineering or related field by the start of the position, possess enthusiasm for teaching, and have the ability to teach courses within their subdiscipline. For the construction management and/or geotechnical position, candidates must also be able to teach courses in statics and strength of materials. Each position is a two-semester full-time appointment with a three course teaching load per semester. Application materials should demonstrate the applicant’s ability to the teach the courses associated with the position.
