Two Visiting Assistant Professors
The Lafayette College Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) invites applications for two one-year Visiting Assistant Professor positions. The first position is within the subdiscipline of environmental engineering for the Fall 2022/Spring 2023 semesters and the second position is within the subdisciplines of construction management and/or geotechnical engineering for the Spring 2023/Fall 2023 semesters. Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in civil engineering or related field by the start of the position, possess enthusiasm for teaching, and have the ability to teach courses within their subdiscipline. For the construction management and/or geotechnical position, candidates must also be able to teach courses in statics and strength of materials. Each position is a two-semester full-time appointment with a three course teaching load per semester. Application materials should demonstrate the applicant’s ability to the teach the courses associated with the position. Review of applications will begin on March 1, 2022 for the environmental engineering position and April 1, 2022 for the construction management/geotechnical engineering position.
