Three tenure track/tenure positions in CCEE at Iowa State University

The Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering at Iowa State University is very pleased to be seeking three tenure track/tenured faculty positions. All three positions are at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor; exceptional candidates with commensurate experience and a proven track record will be considered for the Associate or Full Professor ranks.  Construction (Job Requisition Number R6297): Broad areas of interest include, but are not limited to, building construction topics such as (1) smart and sustainable buildings and (2) safety in building design and construction. This may include BIM, 3D modeling, connected buildings, building energy efficiencies, automation, construction efficiency, and/or geo-construction.

Geotechnical (Job Requisition Number R6296): Targeted areas of interest include, but are not limited to, sustainability, geo-hazard mitigation, risk assessment/reliability, geo-construction, image analysis, computational geotechnics, bio-inspired geotechnics, and critical infrastructure systems.

Structures (Job Requisition Number R6295): All core areas in structural engineering that can promote innovative and emerging research, including but not limited to 3D printing, ultra-high performance concrete, design of sustainable structures, or multi-hazard resistant design.
