The department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Villanova University has two faculty searches open:
- Tenure-Track or Tenured Faculty Position in Transportation Engineering (Assistant or Associate Professor) – The Department is looking for a faculty member with expertise in smart transportation systems and closely related fields. Specific topics of interest include but are not limited to: smart mobility; human factors; autonomous and connected systems; data analytics; resilient infrastructure design; and risk and reliability of engineered systems. The position is at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor as determined by the qualifications of the candidate. - Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor in Environmental Engineering – This is a one-semester appointment for the spring semester of 2022. The successful candidate will be expected to co-teach an undergraduate environmental engineering science course and associated lab with a full-time faculty member, as well as teach a senior level elective course and a graduate course. The successful candidate must be able to work collaboratively in the classroom with existing faculty in a co-teaching capacity. The candidate is also expected to maintain a presence on campus and be responsive to students as a full-time member of the faculty for the duration of the appointment.
