EPA Job Posting: Hydrologic Watershed and Water Quality Modeler, Atlanta, GA

The US EPA, Region 4 Water Division’s Water Quality Standards and Modeling Section in Atlanta, GA is hiring a GS 11/12 Interdisciplinary Engineer/Scientist role, with applications being accepted on USAJOBS starting on Monday, January 8th, 2023 thru Friday, January 19th, 2023. Note that the role is interdisciplinary and open to candidates who meet qualifications as environmental engineers, life scientists, or physical scientists. The role is to serve as a modeling expert using watershed and water quality computer models and to evaluate model scenarios to recommend pollution load reductions to restore water quality.

Some duties for this role include:

This career fair is co-hosted every spring by ASCE and AEES for all CEE undergraduate and graduate students seeking internship and full-time positions (you do NOT have to be an ASCE or AEES member to attend!). 

Seeking something for the summer or for after graduation? Both civil and environmental engineering companies will be attending and seeking students like you of all years for internships and full-time positions! Be sure to attend both preparatory workshops to put your best foot forward, and be sure to attend the networking social after the career fair to continue recruiting conversations and learn more about companies casually! 

Already have a position lined up? Still take advantage of both preparatory workshops to strengthen your resume and people skills! You are also encouraged to network at the career fair and attend the networking social after the career fair to get to know the people you’ll be working with in your industry.
