Two Tenure Track Faculty Positions at Michigan Technological University

The Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geospatial Engineering at Michigan Technological  University invites applications for assistant professor tenure-track faculty positions. Applicants for the position are required to have a PhD in civil engineering or a closely related discipline. The university’s Tech Forward initiatives focus on building research in autonomous and intelligent  systems, data revolution and sensing, natural resources, water and energy, and sustainability  and resilience. The Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geospatial Engineering currently has 29 faculty  members, 528 undergraduate students, and 112 graduate students. Externally-funded research  is approximately $2.5M, and the Department is on a trajectory to double its graduate enrollment over the next five years. The CEGE Department has many teaching and research labs  with state-of-the-art facilities and connections with industry, who provide instrumentation to  support student education and research. Michigan Tech’s graduates are eagerly sought by  industry because of their hands-on training and rigorous coursework.
