Looking to experience first-hand one of the most widely celebrated traditions of South Asian and Middle Eastern culture, just in time for Holi? Come spend the evening doing mehndi – or “henna” – and getting to learn more about the intricacies of its history at SCPC’s Henna Ki Raat! Every attendee gets their own henna cone to free-hand or stencil out designs on themselves. Plus, be sure to try your hand at “rangoli”, the custom of using colored sand to draw patterns on provided poster boards, and Diya (lamp) painting!
