The Student Planning Association (SPA), is an organization of graduate students in the Master’s of City and Regional Planning program, hosts Park(ing) Day, an event where students turn parking spaces into parks, interactive activities, and public space for a day. The goal of the event is to demonstrate alternative uses for the space used to accommodate parking for cars.
