Open to postdocs and late-stage graduate students considering career paths and conducting interdisciplinary research.Did you know that eight IBB faculty are former awardees of the Burroughs Wellcome Fund (BWF) Career Awards at the Scientific Interface (CASI) transition awards?
This is a unique funding mechanism for postdocs who are working in biology with backgrounds in the physical/mathematical/computational or engineering science. BWF’s CASI provide $500,000 over five years to bridge advanced postdoctoral training and the first three years of faculty service.
