University of St. Thomas Tenure-Track Faculty Position

The University of St. Thomas Civil Engineering Department is continuing to grow, and now invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position anticipated to start in Fall 2024. Our department has grown from our 3 first graduates in 2019 to a study body over 120 today. The new Schoenecker Center coming online in January 2024 features thousands of new square feet dedicated specifically to our growing Civil Engineering department and includes a new structures research high bay (with strong wall and floor), water resources and environmental engineering lab, geotechnical engineering lab, and more. The facility represents the second largest investment in STEM education in Minnesota, and offers endless opportunities for both research and education at a primarily undergraduate institution.

All disciplines are welcome to apply, with industry experience and licensure (or ability to become licensed) a strong preference. Furthermore, candidates should have a clear interest in teaching and undergraduate research.
