My name is Skylar Lama and I am a PhD student in Ocean Science and Engineering with EAS as my home department. I am part of a group of graduate students who are organizing a workshop for undergraduates on climate science, solutions, and justice at Spelman College this September. Our goal of this workshop is to expose undergraduate students to the different disciplines within climate science and the many career opportunities that such a field provides.
We are looking for graduate students from GT to possibly present a poster, a talk, or help in round table discussions for any of the workshop days. As the chair of the Civil and Environmental Engineering department I was wondering if you would be willing to pass on a flyer as well the google form for abstract submissions to the CEE graduate student list serve.
