Letter Grade ONLY
No Special Problems courses can count towards a degree. 

Engineering Fundamentals:

• 6-9 credits
• No more than 3 credits at 4xxx level) Letter Grade Only
• Refer to appendix in BioE Handbook for list of courses

Biological Sciences:

• 6-9 credits (no more than 3 credits at 4xxx level) Letter Grade Only
• Typically courses in Biology, Chem and BioChem and Applied Physiology.
• Refer to appendix in BioE Handbook for list of courses

Engineering Mathematics:

• 3 credits at 4xxx-6xxx level
• Letter Grade Only
• Refer to appendix in BioE Handbook for list of courses

Technical electives:

• 12 credits
• At least 9 credits at grad level
• Letter Grade Only
