Calling all Ph.D. students interested in peer leadership opportunities!
The Center for Teaching and Learning is recruiting next year’s cohort of Graduate Teaching Fellows. GTFs support TA and future faculty programs by planning and facilitating TA orientation, conducting classroom observations and providing feedback on teaching to graduate student instructors, and developing a special teaching project that is mentored by a CTL faculty member. GTFs develop mentorship, leadership, and management skills, enhance their teaching and learning expertise, and build connections with fellow graduate students. The opportunity comes with a $1500 stipend per semester (no tuition waiver, does not replace existing funding). Qualified applicants will have at least 2 semesters of TA experience and demonstrate additional commitment to their teaching development.
