Qualifications: A Ph.D. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering or a closely related discipline is
required and must be completed by the start date. Candidates will be evaluated on the basis of their
alignment with the focus area given above, record of excellence and vision for scholarly activities and
funded research, record of excellence and vision for teaching, record and vision for professional
service, and commitment to advancing equity, diversity, and broadening participation.
Appointment: The position is anticipated to be filled at the rank of assistant professor; however, an
associate professor appointment may be considered for exceptional candidates.
