Tenure-track assistant professor in transportation engineering at Youngstown State University

The Civil Engineering (CE) program at Youngstown State University seeks candidates for a full-time tenure-track assistant professor in transportation engineering starting in Fall 2022. The program is looking for a faculty member with expertise in intelligent transportation systems and closely related areas. Some topics of interest include autonomous and connected transportation systems; data analytics; impact of human behavior on traffic mobility; resilient infrastructure design and risk management. The faculty member will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, advise graduate students in their theses/projects, and establish and sustain an externally funded research program in transportation engineering. With an expectation of future growth, the program is looking for an outstanding faculty member with strong commitment to teaching, research, and service to the University, community and profession.
